* Did you go to or work at Millbank School ?

Millbank has its Centenary in 2010 and we are all working hard to make it a special year of celebrations, including an Exhibition of photographs and artefacts which opened at the Museum on tuesday 25th May.

*Family History

At Nairn Museum we have a room dedicated to family history research. There are computerised Old Parish Register records for all the Nairn Parishes & computerised census returns covering the period 1841-1901.

We have a broad range of local history information available for inspection together with access to over 5000 digitised photographs covering all aspects of life in Nairnshire.

We are a registered charity and we therefore ask for a small charge to cover time and materials when conducting research. The charge is £10 per hour or part thereof for family history research, photcopies and printouts 25p per copy and copies of photographs (A4 size £6). It is possible to purchase a disk of up to a maximum of 10 photographs for £5.
