Trenches & Drifters: Nairnshire and the Great War
An event held as part of the Nairn Museum 'Festival of Museums Weekend' between the 15th and 17th of May.

Event Schedule:

Friday 15th May
An introduction to life in the trenches with Gordon Taylor, for school groups. Gordon will take on the role of a local young man caught up in the events of 1914-18 and tell his story.

Saturday 16th May (11am and 2pm)
Performances with Gordon Taylor (Henry Miller in Inverness Opera Company’s production of “Calamity Jane”)

Sunday 17th May (3.00-4.30pm)
“Wartime songs and music” with Dave Godden, Irene Ross (vocals) and Barbara Hackett (accordion)

Tickets £10 from the Museum (includes wine and nibbles)
